About Me
Hiya - I'm Zoe and I'm currently living on an organic farm in Connecticut. I love to climb (trees, walls, rocks, etc), hike, and bike. My hobby list is pretty short right now (growing mushrooms and playing soccer) cause most of my time is spent sitting around dining halls or at my desk studying. I'm hoping to have as many adventures in the breaks between schools as possible - got to cram in the bum-living sometime!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
College loans baby! And its cool to see how other people live.
Interests
I just recently started growing mushrooms (oysters and shiitake) - I'm trying to get into foraging too but I don't have any teachers yet. I'm also trying to get into mountain climbing but can't afford all that gear (do you really need it all though?).
I currently live and work at a student farm - its 11 students living together and growing food for our school.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 18 I decided it would be cool to work on a farm in Alaska - everyone there was prepping for some sort of apocalypse...learning the live and thrive in that off-grid environment was pretty darn cool.
Teach, Learn, Share
I like to farm. I've worked/volunteered on farms in Connecticut, Alaska, Maine, California, and North Carolina.
I'd like to say I'm a triathlete, and occasionally I start training for one, but really I just like to be outside running or biking whenever I can (I suck at swimming).
Again with the mushrooms - I'll talk as long as you'll listen.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Happy attitude, a willingness to cook, and lots of questions (no answers, though).
