About Me

A 25yo Aussie on her working visa, travelling Canada.
I'm an artist/illustrator who's been drawing for longer than she hasn't.
I really enjoy coffee, and meeting new people.
And im really liking this whole living overseas thing too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently in Nelson, B.C. Canada, and I'm planning to make my way over to Vancouver Island, via Vancouver City, and the idea of signing up for a lease seems ridiculous for such a short time, so I'm on CS to see how I can travel in the cheapest way I can, but also, meeting new friends along the way that I will hopefully be able to return the favour to someday when I'm settled back home in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm into a lot of things, pretty laid back with films, would watch anything, but not super into Sci Fi.. I haven't seen Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Hunger Games or anything else everyone says they've seen. I generally don't care either..

I listen to just about any kind of music - right now i'm listening to 8tracks, some chill/smoke/hip-hop playlist playing. electric dubstep, chill, soft trap, hip hop, rap, indie, alternative, reggae, and punk, hardcore.

Books: I'm mainly into fiction: Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn was one of the best books i've ever read. Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards was ace too. And then I've also read a lot of books by John Green, light hearted and easy to read.esa

What I Can Share with Hosts

when i'm making one, i will always offer if you would also like a cuppa..
I also enjoy hanging out and talking with new people, and i can be pretty funny sometimes. I'm also good at staying out of the way and respecting privacy, so there's that..
I like sharing my friendship, but if it came down to it, i'd be down to negotiate money for the space if my requested stay is too long.
