I'm a really easygoing person. I love traveling, cooking, making things happen, art. So many things. I have a lot of hobbies, and am really into my job. I work as a production assistant and in visual effects at an animation studio in Portland. I help make animated television shows. I've lived in Portland since September 2015, and am originally from Oregon.

Before Portland I was living in Germany, where I was studying some german, working as an au pair, and working on various creative projects.

I would say that I'm a pretty independent person, and that I love to give back. I'm social, but definitely love traveling and doing things alone. I don't mind spending time with myself at all, because I enjoy who I am.

I make a lot of dad jokes, and maybe too many jokes in general. I'd say that the way I carry myself is a little bit "awkward/quirky", but it's fine, it's a good icebreaker when I meet new people. I am my own icebreaker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing to meet new people, really. I think it's the best way to travel and meet new people. I'm really comfortable when it comes to the internet, I've come across some of the best opportunities and people in my life because of the internet and social platforms such as couchsurfing.

Interests

Holy macaroni~ I have so many interests.

The main ones are drawing, video editing, photo editing, making little things for shows, dancing, singing, DJing. I do this thing where I see something that I want to do, so I just start doing it. I just make a lot of stuff in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Balanced a spoon on my nose whilst eating an entire meal. It was a very serious ordeal.

Also, I have been raising three children for the past year as an au pair.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach - I'm pretty good at dying hair. I know a lot about toys. I can tell you all about toys! If you maybe need help with your computer, or if you're remodeling your home.. I guess I have a lot of experience with both of those things. I definitely know how to drywall properly. If you want to bake something, I have a recipe book I take most places with me. I could teach you how to cook some new things, I will give it all I've got.
