Hello I'm Zoe.

In 2017 I began an adventure I couldn’t even imagine. After saving some money I decided to skip town on my first official solo travels. I began in the Uk and made my way to Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and Sweden all before making my home down south in New Zealand. For two years I made my home in Aotearoa while visiting Thailand, The states, Canada, and Bali Indonesia in between.

I am now venturing towards home in MN before exploring Mexico and South America come 2020.

On this journey I have continued to fine tune living life to the fullest, exploring all opportunities, taking hold of my anxieties and fears, making life long friends, indulging in new foods, and connecting closer to myself and mama earth.

Joining the CS community has been a big part in my endeavors.

This being the year of continuous growth- I am hoping to learn more and become closer to the culture of my Spanish, Native American, and African American ethnicity.

I love many things some of which include hiking, snorkeling, yoga / acroyoga, aerial silks, painting, drawing, finding gems at op shops or thrift stores, exploring markets, days at the museum, eating, seeing local performances, swimming in the ocean, spending time with animals, riding horses, and so much more!

I am a firm intersectional feminist, LGBTQ+ friendly, and intolerant to slut shaming.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have joined the CS community for my love of people and communities. I want to experience the world as a local. I am hoping to make long term friends so that one day when I finally settle down I may return the favor.

I have a desire to learn traditional basic life skills and not only learn them but become “skilled” at them!

I love to be creative. Writing, drawing, and painting. It be so cool to share and collaborate on a project together.

To share, I have experience in Acro yoga and gymnastics. I also have some makeup artist skills and worked in clothing resale for two years! So if you need help picking out great finds or are trying to resell your clothes I could possibly be helpful in that category!!

I like to practice an energy routine daily and meditate so I can share what insight I have on that.

I went to school for child development and psychology and grew up on an animal hobby farm. I’m always open to offer child care, dog walking, farm work, yard work for trade.
