About Me
What is there to say? What do you want to know?
I live on the countryside and - although I love traveling cities - I'm glad I do so :)
My friends mean the most to me! I'm a very talkative kind of person, always enjoying to get to know more people, fiend new friends. Philosophing about random peoples stories can be so interesting! :D
In school, I've been class representative, year rep and head of the student's council. It's been work I've really enjoyed doing. Thereby I also tried to get engaged in as many social projects as possible.
Due to my parents job I have to be pretty independent and must say I'm glad I am. I've got two older siblings -both have moved out already- a 19-years old sister and a 22- years old brother :)
I ride my bike just about everywhere and try to work out just about every day. I enjoy cooking and backing, whereby trying new things all the time. Going out is fun, so is relaxing and having some nice evenings with friends at home.
To cut a long story short; life is too short to hang around doing nothing!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been enjoying traveling all my life and my family done the best to give me as many opportunities as possible to do so.
Now I've finished school, I want to travel the world. Originally, I wanted to do one year of voluntary work somewhere in Africa, but unfortunately I was too young for that. So I had to think about a plan B, which now turns out to be a far more exciting one! :)
I have earned myself some money to do so, but am still saving up. With workaway, Airbnb and couchsurfing I am trying to make my trip not only affordable, but meet new people on the way. This shall be a trip I will never want to forget! :)
I hope you guys can help me make my wish come true! One big word: Please... :-)

Music, Movies, and Books
You can certainly never have enough of good movies! The best movies are real stories. I also like comedy, dramas and action movies. My favorite ones are Blind Side and The Intouchables :)
I like listening to just about every kind of music. It's great when friends show me new songs. Mainstream is good, but I also enjoy oldies (like real' old ones or just ones from my childhood). I like pop, rock, soft rap (?), country, sometimes even classical music. So there's a good range...
If I read, I prefer reading in English. I enjoyed Stieg Larssons Triology of "the woman with the dragon tattoo" etc. currently I am reading 1000 days of spring, which is a good preparation for my trip :)
