Overview
About Me
I am an easy going person, full of energy who was bitten by the travel bug in my early childhood. Greek heritage. I am currently working as an occupational therapist in the field of assistive technology. I am fascinated by every aspect of life and love learning about almost anything and everything. I'm big on experiential learning and prefer outdoor activities. I love food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Previously I've always relied on backpackers, homestays, friends and family. I'd like to see places through locals' eyes. Its the people, with their simple activities of daily living, who are responsible for the beat of a city's heart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Lived in rural Transkei for one year, treating patients in an understaffed and under resourced hospital with no translator to communicate with isiXhosa speaking patients - I learnt so much from the land and people.
What I Can Share with Hosts
My life stories, keen sense of adventure, any health rehabilitation (should that randomly pop up; my professional occupation includes working with people with disabilities and the elderly) and I'm more than happy to help out with any housework
