After my graduation from college in June 2010, I had been an English teacher for 6 years. During my spare time, I manage two online stores. One day in Aug./Sep., 2016, I discussed with my boyfriend about building a startup. And there is our cross-border e-commerce platform - GlobalMai.

I'm easy going and open mined. I enjoy the most to talk and communicate with local people while travelling. To have more ideas about their life, the custom, the culture, the architecture.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Although I only travel abroad once, I have been to many places in China. And I usually choose residential accommodation during my trip. I'm interested in architecture, especially the Lingnan Style architecture in Guangdong area.
For me, traveling is to explore new things, to communicate with locals and experience local lifestyle.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014, I went up and down many mountains for over 4 hours guided by local people to leave Katmandu and enter Tibet. Because the only way to the entry port was destroyed due to landslides.
