About Me
After working as a Junior Doctor in the NHS (which was quite an experience), I quit my job to travel and work remotely as a copywriter.
Me and my dog 🐕 toured Europe in our campervan over summer 2022, from the UK to Finland then across to Estonia, all the way down to Bosnia and back. Sadly I had to say goodbye to my van 🚐, but I'm still keen for adventures.
During my trip, I met my boyfriend and now live in Sweden with him and my dog.
I love experiencing new places, activities, meeting new people and being outdoors. Animal lover and vegetarian, I enjoy trying new veggie food and pet cuddles.
Wild swimming is something I love, so any opportunity to show me a good spot would be appreciated 🏊♀️
What better way to travel than by meeting locals and seeing the spots you'd never find for yourself. I've found couchsurfing a great way to make meaningful connections, hear about different ways to live your life, and have a more genuine experience whilst traveling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to experience places from a local's perspective, meet awesome new friends and have adventures!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love travel books- some recent good ones I've read are Prisoners of Geography, some hilarious ones by Adam Fletcher including "Don't go there" which actually made me want to do the opposite, and two books by Simon Reeve about his travels (I loved his travels to countries that don't exist).
I also love books about different cultures and perspectives, science, and a good fiction book.
Music wise I play a few instruments and love any live music, whatever genre. Afrobeats and R+B are what I listen to most though.
Movie wise I'm pretty easy. I love everything from a trashy rom com to a an arty international film with subtitles.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The northern lights was pretty amazing in Tromso, Norway! Hiking to a hot river in the dark in Iceland and being the only person for miles was also pretty cool.
I've spent time living in Germany as an AuPair, and living with a family in Ghana for several months whilst I did a volunteering scheme.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Lots of fun, travel stories, photos of my dog (maybe even to meet her), and a new friend to show your favourite places to! I'm also happy to help cook and clean and am very tidy 🙂
