I'm a cyclist, climber and outdoors lover from Sheffield in the UK. I have just started a long distance cycle tour which will be around Spain, Portugal and Morocco and then to Sweden with my friend Iz. We're both vegan (don't eatmeat, fish, eggs or dairy). Previously I worked for an organisation that helps local councils to take climate action. Iz is a doctor and is taking a break from work to cycle tour.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I would like to be able to meet new people from around the world, and to stay with local people in the different places I visit, as meeting interesting people is such a great part of travelling. Hopefully this would also allow me to experience different cultures and lifestyles and get advice on lesser known things to see and do. I would also like to practise and improve French, Spanish and Arabic which I'm trying to learn.

Ice climbing in the cairngorns on a multi-pitch ice route, we topped out in the dark in a 40 mile an hour wind - It was terrifying but amazing fun!

I can share vegan food, I enjoy cooking. I can share experiences of cycle touring and the logistics of how to do this. I could teach you how to climb/belay if we had time. I can teach English. I would love to learn about the life and culture of the different places which I visit. I am happy to help with any projects you're working on.
