Overview
About Me
I am a bookish graduate student of medieval history. I have lived all over the US, including Vermont, Minnesota, Brooklyn, and Colorado, and now I am at Trinity College Dublin pursuing my graduate interests in twelfth-century monastic culture. After starting Latin last year, I have a newfound love of languages and I cannot wait to learn more. I like to cook, run long distances, read, and write letters home.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was a wilderness guide for the Boy Scouts of America for two summers. I took groups of scouts on 10 day canoe trips in the back country of northern Minnesota and Ontario. It was really great to introduce so many young scouts to the deep woods, teach them survival skills, and watch their camaraderie grow as they paddled their way through one of the last great wildernesses on Earth.
