Présentation
À propos de moi
I am a talkative, happy (since I met Jason) law grad who has worked in law firms but finally realised that practicing law isn’t for me (apparently I’m too inquisitive and shouldn’t think).
I’m currently finishing my LLM dissertation remotely (I graduate in November 2018); I trade cryptocurrencies (only on a personal scale), and hopefully I’d be starting my PhD in January 2019 (either in computer science and informatics or in sustainability).
I don't yet know what other career option to pursue (probably become a researcher and/or data scientist as they’re two areas in which I excel) although I did originally want to become a nature/wildlife photographer (I’d even got a place to study it for my degree (until parents said to do law instead)). I did photography as a side business for years and it’s probably something I’d do again (may as well since I enjoy it and have an ongoing creative cloud subscription lol).
I've not travelled as much as I'd have liked (wish I had) but I’ve been abroad a few times. I’ve been to Florida a couple of times (so many great stories), Washington, D.C. (best memories), Frankfurt and Dublin (Irish people are so kind).
My long-term boyfriend Jason (the love of my life) and I were in D.C. together early 2017 (for a holiday) and I fell in love with the place.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
I'm taking two years out to hopefully travel to places along the east coast of America. I couldn't do it all at once due to the visa waiver restrictions. I want to gain positive experiences that everyone I know has had but I never did (due to studying too much).
I've never couch surfed before but I read online that it's a great way to meet local people where you get to exchange stories and experiences to truly experience the country and culture. So... I thought I'd register.
I'm unable to host at the moment as I’m going to be leaving sunny England (note the sarcasm haha) next week.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
I enjoy all genres of music, my playlists are an eclectic mixture of everything.
I love photography (this was my dream career but I got pushed into law by my parents) and learning new skills.
I don't think I have a favourite film (although I seem to be a Tom Hanks (in the 90's) fan) but tv shows... always Sex and the City, The Big Bang Theory (although the last couple of seasons have been rubbish), NCIS (pre-Tony leaving and Ziva dying- don’t ask but I couldn’t bear to not see a happy ending) and Rizzoli and Isles. There are a lot more lol I used to watch Family Guy and South Park but not sure why.
I really love reading unpublished books of the action/mafia/romance genre but I enjoy reading classic novels and factual books where I could learn new skills and information. I just love to read!
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
Getting on an aeroplane alone (for the first time and was petrified);
I should really add to this list...
Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes
