My name is Zoe, I'm an American from Indiana, who graduated from university a year ago! I just finished up a year of teaching English to Ethiopian kids in Israel, and spent some time hosteling around Greece and Italy. I've also lived in Jordan and Brazil, and traveled around Morocco a little bit! I'm starting graduate school at U of Toronto next Fall in Middle East studies, and I love to practice speaking Arabic, Hebrew, and Portuguese whenever I can. I love food, animals and especially dogs, and I absolutely love meeting new people!

Interests

I'm from a small boring town in the Midwest, so I've watched a lot of movies and I love seeing them and talking about them and giving/receiving suggestions! I also love hiking, swimming, biking, and exploring in any way, much like any normal person that is probably using this website :)
Most of all though I love traveling, meeting new people, and getting drinks with friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I tell people my favorite movie is the Fifth Element but really it's Lilo and Stitch. And I tell people my favorite book is The Hobbit but sometimes I'm more of a Wizard of Oz kinda girl.
I'm currently getting through Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Arabic. It's a great way to learn!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw my first shooting stars in 2012 in Jordan's Wadi Rum valley. Breathtaking.
