About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To live my best life, surround myself with good people and laugh !

ABOUT ME

I've done my share of traveling but can never get enough of exploring new places. I grew up traveling to Mexico to visit cousins, Youth Hosteled my way across Ireland, England & France after high school graduation '87 and lately have been into more beachy places and cruises. Nature and animals (esp. dogs) bring me peace and happiness. I'm a 'bloom where I'm planted' kind of girl and completely agree with Abraham Lincoln when he said "People are just about as happy as they make up their mind to be". I travel alone or with my husband, Bob. I have a service dog who sometimes travels with me . We recently added a second rescue dog. Couch surfing, I wouldn't bring the dogs but they LOVE traveling with us in the RV and are seasoned pros. In the months we've spent RVing, we have never gotten one report about them barking or being any kind of a nuisance. I'm a little disabled as a result of beating aggressive Cancer in my late teens, but I manange to do everything I really want to do. With my crutches, I walk for a mile or two at a time & stairs are not a problem. I love to create art, cook/bake, hang out with family & friends, amusement parks and to watch movies. I love to see wacky/tacky roadside attractions. Some of the places I've been: Mexico (puerto juarez, cancun, mx city, cuernavaca, isla mujeres, extapan de la sol), Ireland (all over), England (just london), France (paris and Metz), Germany, Austrian, Puerto Rico, Bahamas, Bermuda, Whole east coast of U.S. and all New England states, Las Vegas, Colorado... Drove the California coast (arriving in Nevada and stayed for a night at the Lil Al'ien (place in lots of UFO movies). Took my first trip to New Orleans recently, that place is amazing.
We got a little RV last year and have put over 18K miles on it exploring Florida, Texas, Tennessee and Mississippi.

PHILOSOPHY

The Four Agreements is my bible. I embrace Budhist philosophy. Nature is my "God". Live life to the fullest. Learn something every day! "If you think you can do a thing or think you can't, either way you're right" (henry ford)

I saw lebbanon, Maine, USA 14,000 feet from the ground sky diving. I have dived two other times since then. Can't wait to sky dive in other places around the world. Also went hang gliding in NH last summer - such a blast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a 20+ year Cancer survivor and learned alot from that battle in case someone going through the 'cancer' thing needs info or a shoulder to lean on.
Would love to learn wood carving! I adore dogs - If yours is a bit of a brat, I can give you some help with training. I trained my amazing yellow lab service dog myself.
