Hello!

I'm Zoe, i'm 31 years old and i'm from Nottingham - a city right in the middle of the UK (literally, it's the furthest away from the coast of any English city)!

I travelled and lived abroad in my early twenties, before heading back to my home town of Nottingham in my mid-twenties to work full-time at the university. At the start of 2018 I took the plunge and quit my job to pursue a master's degree (via distance learning, meaning i can study from anywhere in the world!) and explore new places. I'm also working/volunteering along the way, where i can! This year i've been to USA, Costa Rica, Canada, Australia - and am currently in New Zealand!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking to couschsurf so i can explore new places on a budget!

I've recently left my full-time job, and though i have some savings they won't last forever. So, i'm looking for ways to see the world without breaking the bank.

Also, i have friends who have had amazing experiences of couchsurfing, so i decided to give it a try

I can do a wierd mexican wave type thing with my tongue... not sure its a skill anybody really yearns to acquire though.. although i could be wrong!

I'd love to learn some new languages, some new recipes, and also how to dance without looking like a fool
