ABOUT ME

I am a happy girl living with my partner Sølve. I grew up on a small farm, near Hok. My parents live and still work on the farm. I met Sølve in Norway, we worked together on a mountain station. Sølve is Norwegian. We moved together to Sweden in autumn 2004.

In our spare time renovating we a old family-house dating from the 1700s. The goal is to move in there. The house is located in a natural beauty area 12 km outside Hok.

Our common great interests are to; dance (ballroom IDSF, social foxtrot and swing), cooking, spending time with friends, skiing (both slalom and cross-country), hiking in nature and Traveling!

I and Sølve likes to travel, both large and small, short and long trips. Last trip was to Monte Rosa in Italy, a week of skiing and lovely evenings with friends. We have also been on a long-trip together. We went around in Southeast Asia in 6 months between 2005-06. It was a fantastic trip! We would be happy to tell you about our trips if you ask. :)

Sølve plays saxophone, sings in the choir, like to play on the computer and shoot longbow. I like outdoor climbing, horse riding, yoga, reading and make lace.

We are open to our way, more to the southern way than many others in the Nordic countries. We like to be social. It is always exciting and interesting to meet friends - new and old.

I have worked in a restaurant in 10 years, first as a cook and later head chef. I loved it! :) Now I work as personal assistant (housekeeper), then 2 years back. I like it very well. It is a social work where it is important to be sensitive. My partner works as a "teacher / helper “ in a school for the intellectually disabled.

We can offer many different types of housing and/or guidance. Possibility to stay in the hay loft, on a couch in the living room, in a bed in your own room (in the farm at my parents), tents at the lake .. etc.. Longer or shorter stays. The most important is that you have a happy mood!
