About Me
Hello!
I'm a Dutch student, 22 years old.
Usually I like to hang around on the couch in our living room (since I live with six other roommates and we've got a shared living room with four couches), take care of the plants in our house and on our balcony, sit on the balcony, make some music in my room and sit in my room.
Often, I also go outdoors. I like to visit the beach at the Waal (which is 5 minutes away from my house!), go out for a swim or a pint of cheap German beer.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I couchsurfed two times with a friend. I really liked the way how people were really polite and wanting to help us have a good time and showing us around. I think it could be really fun and interesting to invite people over to my place to do something in return and make them feel at home in my city!
Interests
Sometimes I work on self invented projects like making an extra wall made of old plastic bags in our living room for a while, or trying to build furniture.
At night, I enjoy visiting parties at friends or around around anywhere. Every once in a while I try to watch a film in the evening, but that usually results in me falling asleep and having to watch the other half the day after.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once was traveling through Spain and France on my own. I was lost in a deprived area in Toulouse while all subways where already closed. A police car picked me up and drove me around, helping me find the bed & breakfast I was looking for, making jokes and putting on the police light when people didn't open their doors when they knocked to ask for directions.
I did eventually find the bed & breakfast. The other day. When they already had brought me to the cheapest hotel which was 70 euros a night.
Teach, Learn, Share
To earn some money I work as a cleaner, which gives me time to think things over and update my agenda. This will definitely turn you into an open-minded, stress-relieved and easy going person! Just try to take it easy on the heavy cleaning products.
