Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've surfed a handful of times, and have met some very good friends along the way. When I surf, I try to be a gracious guest and help out with the dishes, keep my area tidy, etc.
One thing I've realized while traveling is that there are more differences within a group than between groups. And everyone is awesome once you get to know them.

Interests

I ride my bike everywhere, and I like health foods and exercise, but I've also been known to have a few beers and order cheese fries.
I appreciate art and love going to museums, openings, and cultural events of all sorts.
I like puns and wordplay too.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 19, my friend and I randomly took a train from Milan to Le Cinque Terre, Italy, knowing almost nothing about it. It's probably the most beautiful place I've been to. The evening we got there, I went for a swim in the ocean at dusk and swam out as far as I could in order to see as much of the town as possible. It was breathtaking.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am pretty good with photoshop, illustrator, and indesign, and would be willing to give some tips to any who need them. I love drawing portraits as well, if you're willing to sit still for a bit! I can juggle too.

I'm very open to learning more from everyone. Seeing how other people live is always an awesome experience.
