About Me

Grew up in North Wales, went travelling for a while and am back for now.

I would love to meet up and can offer advice on where to go, what to do and how to get there. One of my favourite things to do is to drive through Snowdonia to take in its Beauty and I can take you on a tour of the area if you have the time :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the principles of hospitality and generosity that Couchsurfing is based upon.

Whilst travelling in Argentina, I stayed with a friend in the family home of a couch surfer. We spent a couple of days with them and joined in the celebration of a special occasion, which included eating a lot of barbeque and dulce de leche - an invaluable experience in exploring the country and discovering such a hospitable people.

Interests

Love wandering in beautiful landscapes and chasing beautiful sunsets and skies.

Painting, music and exploring outside - hiking, driving or simply sitting and soaking it all in - are all therapy to me.

One of my happy places is jamming with musical family and friends. I love to sing and play the guitar - when there's no one else to do it for me ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favourite adventures is hitch-hiking to Morocco when I was 18 with two uni friends. I love how we would find ourselves in the most surreal situations - spending the night huddling together wrapped in a tarp in an icy field in the French countryside, being smuggled into a factory by our newfound lorry driver friend to spend the night, waiting for hours and hours on the side of the road singing in the rain. These memories make wonder what on earth we were thinking - especially when I remember things like getting into a cab with a drunk driver and having to jump out in the middle of nowhere - and also remind me of that feeling of adventuring wild and free and the wonderful people and places we came across along the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extradordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired. -- Mother Teresa.
