About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To enhance my travelling experience by meeting people from all over the world!
ABOUT ME
22 year old masters student from UK on exchange in USA! I love travelling and studying; hence when I got the opportunity to do both I jumped at the chance. Currently trying to live the American dream on a pitiful student budget.

PHILOSOPHY
This too shall pass. Enjoy everything, the good and the bad because it won't be around forever.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have enjoyed hosting before; although living in Turlock there aren't too many people wanting to come stay. But I would love to host more people in the future. I have also used couch-surfing and found it to be so much fun and really made my travels so much better

Interests
I'm a student of Applied Behavior Analysis (don't worry, no experiments will be done! :P), I love meeting new people from around the globe and going off to have adventures of my own as I complete my studies. I love animals and animal training, and I'm generally interested in science, philosophy, I love debating, novels, geeky stuff like RPGs and the like. I'm also a geocacher, and like to do a few on the way if I can!
My work is with children with autism and children with learning disabilities. I've got lots of experience with children in general, and I'm a big fan of an evening running round and playing games :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm not great with knowing about music in general. I know the bands that I like and not much more. I'm more of a tv show and books kinda gal. I love a good CSI kinda show along with comedies- both British and American. If you like The Inbetweeners, Blackadder, Gavin and Stacey, The Office (UK), 30 Rock etc etc then we are sure to get along :)
Books; I read a lot of books for my studies which I tend to enjoy but leave me with not much time for my own readings. But during holidays and the like, I love a good romance, murder mystery or fantasy.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Whilst in the Galapagos I overcame (kinda!) my fear of swimming in the sea and went snorkelling with turtles, marine iguanas, penguins, hammerhead sharks and all sorts of other critters. I got to play with a few different baby sealions that came up to me, blew bubbles in my mask and would swim round and round me in circles.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach anyone about the principles of behavior- WHY we do what we do from a scientific analysis.
This is my life's work and I'd love to share it with you. It applies to anything like how to train your dog, cat or rat, to how to help your child with autism learn new things, how to get your child to go to bed at night or how to make your husband (or wife- no gender stereotypes here!) do the washing up.
If you're interested, or just want to get your puppy to stop peeing on the carpet, I would be over the moon to oblige :D
Also, I crochet small animals (the craft is called amigurumi) so I would love to teach anyone this!
