About Me
"Veux-tu vivre heureux ? Voyage avec deux sacs ; l'un pour donner, l'autre pour recevoir." - Goethe
Backpacking and travelling are among my favourites activities, and especially slow traveling : to me traveling is less about going somewhere than about the way you get there, and what makes a good trip are all the people that you meet along the way :)
I started backpacking and doing Couchsurfing in Ireland and the US when I was 19, and then couldn't stop ! Last year I traveled the Balkans and South America during 6 months with a friend, to make videos about social entrepreneurs. We did a lot of Couchsurfing and met some unforgettable encounters and lasting memories.
Among my other passions are biking, photography, mindfulness, social innovation and meeting new people... I try to do all this in my day to day life !
To say a little bit more about myself I am a 25 years old dynamic and always optimistic girl :) I live in Paris, and over the past year I have been working in a start-up that promotes social innovation, sustainable development and more meaningful jobs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travelling is all about openness and meeting people, sharing stories and experiences, giving and receiving. Couchsurfing offers all of that, and I consider it the best way to travel!
I discovered couchsurfing when packpacking in Ireland in 2011, then in the the US in 2012-2013. I remember my host in Belfast showing me the non-touristic parts of the city for one entire day; I remember my host in NYC bringing me to some fancy places where I would have never been by myself; I remember the parties in Galway and Philadelphia with my wonderful host's friends; I remember my host in New Orleans introducing me to the underground parts of the city and bringing me to some crazy meditation class; I remember the lasting conversations about life with my host in Los Angeles whose dream was to become a movie star; I remember meeting another couchsurfer at my host's in Galway and then travelling for two weeks with him...
I would have never met so many amazing people, made so many friends, nor had such a diversity of experiences without couchsurfing.
And I am very excited to do some couchsurfing again during my 6 months trip, to meet you and share a little bit of my travel with you ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
One book : Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince), with the most beautiful quote ever "on ne voit bien qu'avec le coeur, l'essentiel est invisible pour les yeux".
One movie : Incendies, an astonishing movie by Denis Villeneuve !
One song : Reckoning Song by Asaf Avidan.. Just beautiful.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent a week in an indigenous community in the middle of the Amazonian Forest, and it was an amazing experience...
What I Can Share with Hosts
