Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Gain experience and perspective, immersing myself in the worlds cultures and the people that create them
ABOUT ME
Starting out in Swindon England my family moved to Chicago Illinois where I grew up. It was then time to grow up so I moved to Indianapolis Indiana to study. My restless legs moved to Auckland New Zealand where I completed my studies. The growth within that traveling inspires has made my movement endless. I love interacting within different cultures, getting to know locales, and expand all experience. I now work for Crystal Cruise Line as the Junior Activities Director. The one thing that has stuck with me is that the tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon but we wait so long to begin it. At the age of 23 I feel like now is the time to exploring what life has to offer. So here I go continuing on my path.
PHILOSOPHY
The tragedy of life is not that ends so soon but you wait so long to begin it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Being more of a nomad now I am unable to host as much as I like. I have had the opportunity to host a few times while at college in Indianpolis and it is a great feeling to give someone a place to stay for FREE! Money is only worth and there are far more things to take advantage of then a hotel room. I also love getting to know new people. Each person is unique and carries so much individualism with them. Interacting with others broadens your view on the world so I am grateful for any new person I have the pleasure of talking with.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been lucky enough to be taken in by many people throughout my travels... So THANK YOU!!! I have one story that has stuck with me that I would like to take this opportunity to share.
I was travel through Copenhagen and met a Man on a Couch in Christiania. This man had not traveled the world. He had not seen what I had seen but there we were on the same couch. We began to talk of our experiences and teachings. A man who had gone nowhere knew the world has much as I . He had people pass through from every corner of the earth. He heard of their cultures their experiences. He saw through their eyes the awesomeness of the world. He developed a wide perspective and understanding. The thing my hundreds and thousands of miles traveling, eating peanut butter sandwiches, sleeping on any open grass, was all in search for. And he had not moved. It is the people we meet that make use grow. I now know that and take advantage of a man and a couch as much as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many to list!!! I would be happy to discuss all in person.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking the Pacaya Volcano in Antigua Guatemala when it irrupted while I was on top. I never knew I could run that fast and be that coordinated! It was amazing to see lava that close once the danger was out of the way! Wow what an adventure.
Saw ice burgs as big as airports, penguins swimming with whales, and the clearest and purest sky in Antarctica! Wow it is as close to another world I will ever get.
Backpacking New Zealand which brought me to become part of a 14 person group all jammed into one motor home! WE got really close to say the least!
So many places, people, and adventures!!!!
