I love hiking and have just come back from an amazing "tramping" trip in New Zealand with friends. I enjoy riding my bicycle around both for environmental reasons and fun, and would like to do some cycle touring in future.

I am a professional stiltwalker and also learning aerial arts, would like to meet some circus types as they are great fun!

I'm interested in holistic health: I previously worked for 6 years managing a holistic veterinary clinic. I learnt much about pet care, natural herbal and aromatherapy remedies for pets and people and happy to teach and share my knowledge. While we've been in India on this current trip so far I've helped a few hosts with pet care and knowledge.

I've travelled a fair bit, while living in Switzerland for a year (fluent in French) I travelled around western Europe, and also have been to Indonesia, Japan and visited family in North America several times.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to go to the occasional outdoor party / doof but am not really into clubbing anymore, unless it's a gig for an artist I like. Music wise, I like ambient electronica, soulful acoustic, jazz, dubstep, drum & bass, funk, dub & reggae, downtempo IDM, a bit of psy-trance, especially psy-breaks/dub.

I looove books and reading and have an extensive library at home which I'm happy for Couchsurfers to use while they're staying.

I enjoy an occasional movie when I have time, which is not that often! Thoughtful, intelligent films with good plots and lessons to share or quirky filmmakers or good documentaries are the kinds of things that float my boat.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Going to in Switzerland on exchange by myself at 17 was an incredible, formative experience.
I have an adventurous streak and have done skydiving, scuba diving, black water rafting, canyoning, climbed mountains.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm a great cook and love creating in the kitchen. I am fun and creative and enjoy connecting and sharing fun experiences with new friends.
