ABOUT ME

Sooo. im am an open minded fun loving person. like so many others on here.
i caught the travel bug when i was 14 and my parents put me on a plane to canada to stay with some friends of ours for 4 months. i was so nervous i didnt eat a thing and by the time got to calgary i was attempting to vomit up nothing. of course i calmed down over the 4 months and realised i never wanted to stay in one place. that lifestyle wasnt for me.

when i was 16 i travelled to china for a school trip. this was the first country i visited that i couldnt understand the language in. i loved this even more than canada. i found a challenge!

now i am in europe, at the age of 20, and am travelling with an amazing friend who has been living in milan for the last 6 months. we avoid tourist areas and try to blend in with the locals as much as possible in order to forfil our mission to live life like a local whilst in our chosen destination. we hope to make new friends and learn about modern culture here and there.

PHILOSOPHY

live everyday like its your last...but dont over exhaust urself too soon. haha. discovering something new everyday is so important. knowledge is the key to life.

Interests

music- ska, reggae, hip hop, good soulful south american music like the afro cuban all stars, fashion, FOOTBALL- aka soccer this is my first love. hiking, getting lost (not necessarily when hiking more so when in a unfamiliar city ), peppermint tea, cooking, sleeping. of course travel,, do you even need to list this when ur on this site?

at the moment i am reading a book called white teeth...seems interesting though i am only 5 pages in...ill report back shall i . hahah

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

on a hike once in the victorian desert region we ran out of water and so we had to cross a freezing river that was undrinkable and finally found some usable water...this was found in the hole made by a rangers truck tyre...
