Hi! I am Stace (short for Anastasia), a 29-year-old Russian living in a beautiful village-y type place called Uithoorn, together with my amazing family consisting of my daughter, partner and a crazy chocolate lab pupper. Even though all of us have quite busy days, as a family with a small child would, we decided to open our house again to Couchsurfers from all over the world.

We are not really party people, but we enjoy a good live music performances and stand-up comedy shows. Recently, in our own ways, both my partner and I started getting into various ways of meditation. These two sentences are not much, but hopefully, they can give you an idea of what kind of people we are.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I think it's an amazing platform to meet people from all over the world. I haven't been hosting for quite a few years due to being very busy, but I would like to get back into it to bring some livelihood back into the house.

Interests

At the moment I enjoy watching movies, reading and writing short stories and meeting up with interesting and funny people, especially the ones I could learn something from.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Eternal Sunshine of Spotless Mind, Once, Gravity, Boyhood, Annie Hall, and a couple of tv shows: The X-Files and Twin Peaks...and Wayward Pines, perhaps.
Music:Incubus, Queens of the stone age, Placebo,The Kooks,Nirvana,God is an astronaut,the Beatles, The Shins, Glen Hansard, The White Stripes, The Villagers, David Bowie, and many others. I also like cafe jazz, but since I'm not a hardcore jazz fan, I can't really give any examples besides Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald (which, I think, both are pretty amazing).
Books:One Flew Over the Cocoo's Nest,About a boy (Nick Hornby), most of Haruki Murakami,1984 by George Orwell,most of Stephen King, The other hand, Brave New World. And generally, I tend to be interested in either sci-fi or dystopias, and my favorite story is The Little Prince, which doesn't fit either genre.
