ABOUT ME

I fell in love with Rock Climbing a few years back and it changed everything about me. The people I've met from around the world, the places I've seen; just the chance to meet people who enjoy the travel as much as being at a destination has become one my greatest joys. I take life as it comes and flow with what I can't change. I believe that the journey is more than half the fun of the destination. Everyone has a story to tell and each time you listen, you learn a little bit more about others as well as a little bit more of yourself. I work in an Emergency Room, so I have off most days of the week to help show Surfers around.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am fairly new to CS and sadly, don't live in the most interesting of places, but there is a lot of fun to be had!!! Currently, I reside in Orlando Fl, which if you're into backpacking and traveling, this is just a fun tourist/theme park filled city. It's not quite as historic as other places you can travel, but there is still a lot of things to get out of this gorgeous city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've only hosted 1 person as of yet and it was a total blast! I'm hoping that more people come to visit so I can hear their stories. I've yet to get to stay with another CS host, but I've had the pleasure and opportunity to chat with a couple from around the world. We had a traveler from Germany come stay with us for a weekend who had never been to Disney. We found some tickets last minute and spent 14 hours at Disney and took her to each of the parks. It was a good day to be a tourist.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Working in a Hospital, I've witnessed life and death in the same day. Both were happy events. Life was given to a new infant; and even though the old man had passed away, their family talked about the things he was going to do and enjoy in his new life after life. He wasn't dead, he just moved to the next part of life!
