ABOUT ME
COPY/PASTE messages? I will not answer!
Optimistic, upbeat. On the lookout for adventures. I love food!
I've been living, studying, and working in Prague for the past 3 years. I love it here! From my time in Europe, I'm hoping to have as many cultural experiences as I can! That means when I travel I'm more interested in meeting people and observing local customs than I am in seeing sights, although a lot of those are really nice, too. Give me food and good company and I am totally content. :-p
PHILOSOPHY
everything is connected! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Spreading the word, meeting visitors for coffee or helping them navigate Prague with tips and suggestions, hosting, and being hosted!
Being from southern California, our foreigners are all second, third, or fourth generation (everyone my age was born there just like me). For me it's terribly interesting and enriching to spend time with people from different backgrounds.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I think I most enjoyed my time with a young Italian couple and their adorable daughter. They might be the most interesting people I've ever met- they spend a year in South America teaching villagers how to farm more efficiently before moving back to Italy to have their child together, and they continue to host people on a regular basis from all over the world. Not to mention... they know how to eat and I love that! :)
--To me THIS is what CS is about- the unique opportunity to cross paths with amazing people!
My fondest memory of hosting is when I hosted 3 different girls at the same time and we all went out for drinks and ended up having one of the most open, honest, and interesting conversations I've ever had.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
human kindness
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you everything about western America (food, culture, language, landscape), love to cook (sometimes its good and other times bad... but I'm really good at American cheesecake!)
I've lived as a foreigner in a country with very deep and varied history for 3 years so I suppose that's given me some perspective.
I'm interested in learning about other ways of life and other perspectives.
