I am an energetic, spontaneous and authentic little woman from Puerto Rico. In the present I'm living in Miami and I'm working as a teacher, that means that I have the best summer vacations and I use that free time to travel around the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every time I travel I go with a local friend. Why? Because I do not like touristic zones. I always love to be with local people who take me to local places where I can experience the reality and the authenticity of each country. What I'm looking in Couch surfing is to meet people that can guide me to unforgettable and extraordinary places that only my mind will remember (I also love to eat and drink legit stuff).

Interests

Outdoor Sports/Activities like snowboarding, MOUNTAIN BIKE, mud races, Beach Volleyball, Hiking, PaddleBoarding, Surfing (just tried it once) and anything that involves EXERCISE, challenge and a good sore muscle the next day.

Music, Movies, and Books

Coming from an Island makes very obvious that I like salsa music, the old school one. I'm more into music that gives me goosebumps like: Wild Belle, Kimbra, Julieta Venegas, La Mala Rodriguez, Nach Scratch, Robi Draco Rosa, Disclosure, Bebe, Jorge Drexler, Kevin Johansen, Cultura Profetica, Vampire Weekend, etc.

Movies: All the Almodovar's movies. Mad Max, Across The Universe, El silencio de sus ojos.
