CURRENT MISSION

I recently finished studying Asian Studies in Bonn with a focus on China and South-East Asia, receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree. My objective is to understand China and its people. Though I feel like only scratching on the surface I'm hopeful that one day I'll be diving deep into this old culture. At the moment I am living as an Au-Pair with a Chinese family in Guiyang, Guizhou Province.
I'm dreaming of showing China to the rest of the world - far away from mainstream media and very close to its people. I'm planning on being an adventure tour guide for travels in China, to help German travelers have an awesome experience while exlporing this huge country!

ABOUT ME
I learnt that whenever I share my feelings and thoughts, open myself and show my vulnerability, something in other people makes "click" and they open up themselves. Wonderful experience :D

I am fun-loving, warm-hearted, hospitable, and I love to share things and ideas. I'm also thouroughly curious, asking loads of questions and I am open to new things.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I heard of soooo many good couchsurfing experiences that I wanted to be part of this wonderful community! So far I have just once "couch surfed", but I was able to show my hospitality to old and new friends and I enjoyed that a lot!

兴趣

I'm really into photography - I simply like to show the world how I see the world! It's just amazing what you can explore through the lense of a camera...
I love reading, exploring new places and languages and meeting people. I appreciate the company of people who are open-minded and willing to share their feelings and thoughts with me.
Ah, not to forget, food!! I like to discover a country by tasting all of its delicacies ;)
To complete the list: I love dancing, discovering new music I can dance and dream to, sleeping outside in a tent or under the sky, hiking, biking, canoeing, bouldering, climbing, slacklining (sth new I discovered just a few weeks ago).
And: I frickin' LOVE sunsets und sunrises ^^

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I felt pure happiness once, as a very physical experience. I was sitting in a merchants town somewhere in southern Thailand, enjoying a watermelon shake. The happiness came over me like a warm cosy wave, totally unexpected. Want to repeat that :D

I can share some insights into China and I can provide useful advice for a city tour in Shanghai :)

I also am "studying" 'Radical Honesty' and love to spread the things I learnt through this, e.g. rediscovering your feelings as a guide to what is good for you and what's not.
