CURRENT MISSION
to travel to all 5 continents ( 1 to go!)
ABOUT ME
I have been a member for a while and found Couch Surfing really useful during my winter back-packing trip through Europe in 2015. Yes, you heard right! In the winter time! I met a bunch of great people through Couch Surfing and some of them I became great friends with to this day. When I first joined, I was still a college student and now as a 'real' adult, I see opportunities to meet new people getting smaller and smaller. I hope to stay part of this community for a while!
New update: I am now also a yoga teacher :D
PHILOSOPHY
âFor a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for nature cannot be fooled.â
-Richard Feynman, Nobel-Prize-winning physicist, in a presidential commissionâs report on the 1986 explosion of the space shuttle Challenger
"Humanity is like an ocean; if a few drops of ocean are dirty, the whole ocean does not become dirty"
-Mahatma Ghandi
"It is not what we get, but who we become, what we contribute...that gives meaning to our lives"
-Tony Robbins
"The present is the ever moving shadow that divides yesterday from tomorrow. In that lies hope."
-Frank Loyd Wright
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first couch surfing experience was crashing at a mutual friend's futon for several days. It was way more homey and welcoming than a hotel can ever be. Couch surfing is a great way to get to know the true character of the people and places you are visiting. Until I become too old to couch surf, I will definitely prefer this over traditional means of travel!
I've couchsurfed with the bf in old Savannah and Portland. Great hosts and can't wait to keep meeting new people.
