I am not sure what to say since I think each person is so much more than can be summed up in a sentence.

I suppose I am a rather introverted person but I love exploring places and meeting people from around the world. I strive to be at peace with myself, see the beauty around me and remember about the responsibilities we have towards the world and the ones we share it with.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it is inspiring to meet people from all around the world and exchange your experiences. I have recently tried Couchsurfing while traveling with a friend of mine and it would not have been the same without the people we met.

Since that time I have started hosting others, too, and it has been such a pleasure to open my home to travelers, learn from them, and share so many stories, talks, and laughs.

Music, Movies, and Books

There is no one style of music I prefer over the others. Some of the music bands and musicians I love are Cocteau Twins, Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, The Verve, Tame Impala, Beach House, Slowdive, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd. I used to be mostly into the music from the '60s and '70s but since then I started enjoying electronics, pop, indie, and all sorts of stuff.

I love watching and re-watching movies by Woody Allen, Wes Anderson, Jim Jarmusch, Richard Linklater, David Lynch, Alfred Hitchcock, and Krzysztof Kieslowski. I cannot say that I am not prone to watching a good TV show, too, especially, something original such as The Good Place.
