COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In december,2006 I´ve been in Netherlands for a few days and I have stayed by lovely Mrs. Althausen`s hause. Actually, we were really lucky to find the place because when we´ve arrived at the town, it was like midnight and raining,there was noboby on the streets, and we didn´t have enough info to reach her house. Then we started to look around to ask for the address which I´ve written wrong :),therefore normally we haven´t found anybody who was familiar with even any word in the address. Afterwards, we enter into a coffee bar and ask to the waitress who was by chance the ex-girlfriend of Mrs. Althausen`s neigbours´ son :).Then she just prepared a small map for us and we reached the place. Probably we would have been looking for a hostel, (seemed not possible to find)if we haven´t met this girl.By the way, if you´r gonna surf her couch and have some problems about address and stuff like me, just hope she is still working there :) The bar is exactly opposite the central bus station in city center on the other side of the street :)
