About Me

ABOUT ME

I am curious, adventurous and always looking to make new experiences.
Having lived and worked in the US, Cape Verde, Japan, Singapore, the UK and my native Switzerland, I am always keen to meet fellow world trotters and practise my language skills too.

Have settled in a new place and may occasionally host. With a busy work schedule, I expect mature, respectful guests of all ages who appreciate a good conversation and laugh. I prefer to host people who have shared the thought and hosted as well!

PHILOSOPHY

You can't live your life like a socialist country - with 5-year production plans. So be flexible and adapt to new situations and allow yourself to change your mind.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had people stay at my place in Switzerland, the UK and Singapore several times and have also stayed at people's homes a few times. Tokyo had an active and fun CS scene too. I always had a great time, both staying at people's places and having them there. I also like to meet for sightseeing, drinks and parties and just to make new friends and exchange travel and other life stories.

Interests

Music, being with friends, indie cinema, yoga, walking in the mountains, travelling, literature, train rides, politics, swimming, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, languages

Music, Movies, and Books

I was member of a literature club and really read a lot. Hard to name a single favourite though.
I like going to the cinema too, mostly more indie movies. I particularly fell in love with Scandinavian cinema.
I listen to music all the time. Various styles from latino to pop, from french chansons to 80s, rock to ballads to zouk, ska, reggae, punk, forro...
