HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've hosted surfers at our little house in Austin and I just surfed myself for the first time in France. It makes for such a rich (and FUN) cultural experience. I hope to continue to host and surf til I'm old and even grayer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few times in Austin before surfing a couple times in Europe - awesome hosts in Marseille and Brussels. Each experience has been very positive and a few have been unforgettable. The entire idea is just fantastic.

I can show you: how to shoot a basketball, how to make tacos, how to play basic chords on guitar, photoshop, golf, math, history, english. I am a teacher, after all :)

I love learning about the world and other cultures. I am very interested in learning about growing food, cooking, new languages, places to see, how to brew beer, and anything else I don't know (which is a lot!).
