ABOUT ME

Hey! :D Let's go with a brief description of myself (no i won't tell "all about me" like they ask; otherwise where's the fun!): I'm a speech therapist and i currently work in Québec. I studied in Belgium and i'm sure glad i can find some of the belgian beers here:) I've traveled a little during my childhood and i suppose it had a big impact on myself, my interests and my love for traveling! I'm always curious, i love meeting new people, share different points of view, different experiences and cultures. My dream would be to be able to speak all the languages of this world (did i say it was a dream? :s) but it's always a pleasure just to learn, even a few words (more realistic i know..). Mmh whats else..? Oh i like to sing :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

For the moment I've only been surfing and it was a truly great experience! I haven't been using couchsurfing for some time i admit. And i miss it! It has been difficult to host these last two years but i'd love to return the favor !!!

Interests

Traveling, walking, laughing, singing, cooking (actually i love to eat more than to cook :) ), windy summer nights, watching a fire, the smell of chimneys in winter (i know those interests are very specifics, but still small things are the best aren't they?), listening to stories, live music...

Music, Movies, and Books

It's hard to list my favorite movies but i'd say: la vita e bella, dancer in the dark, the reader, Moulin rouge, The life of David Gale, Le grand Bleu, Amélie Poulain, Gladiator (as you can see, those are practically only sad movies, obiously there are not really objective and i do also like less depressing movies!) :D
Music: a little bit of everything, rock, soul, reaggae, funk, jazz, classic..
Books: i like french classics (Maupassant,Flaubert, Baudelaire..), american and english literature (The catcher in the rye, the great Gatsby, DH Lawrence..) but i also like "easy-to-read" and diverting books.
