I don't know, i guess i'm a bit of a wanker, trying to find a way in his life... or maybe simply trying to experience as many things as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I now only have just one couch and can't host as many people as i used to but it's good to keep on participating.

Ahora es dificil para me ofrecer un couch visto que mi cuarto esta bien pequeño. Todavia mi parece mucho mas lindo viajar en couchsurfing que quedarme en hostales baratisimos y a veces no muy acogedores.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have a small experience of touring with my own band and thus share couches (or matresses or floor or whatever... i prefer something soft though) of people who let us play in their town. I also used to host at home every bands for whom i promoted shows (even had up to 9 smelly bearded dudes packed in my living room) but had to stop doing that (also for their own interest) when i moved to a smaller flat.

I also happen to need a place to stay when travelling (it's always nice to visit your friends) here and there, so far i have been mainly surfing my friends' couches but i don't have friends everywhere in the whole world.

Bueno cuando estoy en giro con grupos (el mio o accompañando amigos), claro que nos quedamos la mayoria de veces en couch, pero tambien me gusta hacerlo cuando viajo!

Interests

I have mainly two interests, music and travelling although i like to mix both :)

As far as music is concerned i started to listen to rock bands when i was ten and since then haven't really stopped broadening my interests. Then started playing guitar on my own, then in a band, then starting to write reviews for websites, help friends booking shows, book my own shows, do a label, etc...

As far as travelling is concerned, i started to travel when i was in Finland as an exchange student and realised how many places there were to see around there. I also met people who travelled a lot and had many things to tell about trips they had. I guess that's how i realised how easy it was, and how interesting it could be.

As far as mixing is concerned, i really love to travel hundreds of kilometers just to see one gig, especially if the band is great. It's always a good opportunity to meet friends you hadn't seen in a while. I also enjoy touring touring with bands, although this is a bit more difficult!

Other interests include languages, yoga, eating, partying, growing flowers...

Me gusta mucho la musica, todo lo que sea un poco fuera de lo que se escuche en la radio mayormente. Organize mucho conciertos por pequeños grupos en giro por Europa y tambien participe en el mantenimiento de un centro de artes alternativos, acogemos exposiciones, conciertos y hay tambien muchas salas par ensayar, talleres, etc...

Al lado de eso, tambien toco en un grupo que se llama Carne. Somos solo 2, guitara y bateria, pero todavia hacemos mucho ruido. Se podria describir como un tipo de metal, tambien un poco de punk... Estamos por grabar unas pistas!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: rock, metal, hardcore, doom, pop, electronica, electro clash, black metal, disco-rock, shoegaze, noise, ambient, drone, hip hop, indus, goth, cold wave, and on and on and on...

Movies: i don't go that often to movies, although i enjoy it quite much.

Books: I read a lot when i travel, not much otherwise. Recently i have been into Paul Auster, Ryu Murakami, Bukowsky, Bret easton ellis (but then started to hate his books), Haruki Murakami...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I swam with a turtle once for about twenty seconds. I don't know if that's the most amazing thing in my lifetime, but i hadn't thought id do it. :)

Vi una cataratta hermosisima en el Peru y solo pude quedarme unos minutos, visto que ya tenia que volver antes que caya la noche!

There aren't many things i'm good at, maybe i could teach french or playing guitar, i don't know...
