I'm a civil engineer turned overseas volunteer turned French primary school teacher turned consultant in international development. I'm currently working Washington, D.C. and traveling abroad from time to time. I love peanut butter more than anything else.

Things I love: making lists, talking about the future, two pints of beer with a friend, dancing like a fool, getting lost in my drawings, rain, observing nuances of new countries, street lights illuminated at dusk, flowing water, inspirational quotes and leaders, honesty, coffee, green tea, speaking French, saying the words: pamplemousse, améliorer, and clermont-ferrand, those 40 or so minutes spent waiting at the airport before my flight boards, almonds and cashews, well-crafted sandwiches, seeing my family after a long absence, couchsurfers, educators who are passionate, reading classics, reading new fiction, diligence, wandering through modern art museums, goals, sweating, audiobooks and podcasts, nostalgic music, Marseille, Paris, peanut butter, drawing fonts, contrast, pineapple, singing in the shower, the Sunday NYT, knowing that I have so many more people to meet and places to go
