My current mission is to finsih law school and in beetwen to meet new people and travel to some nice corners of the world

ABOUT ME

I'm an optimistic, open-minded and fairly curious person. When I'm not pre-occupied with my college responsibilities, I like to read a lot, watch movies, spend time in interesting museums and clubs... Also, I'm a great sports fanatic (basketball coming in first), but I keep this side of my personality under control unless I encounter a fellow fan :) I strongly belive that visting new places and specially meeting new people is fundamental to one's personal growth (intellectual, moral, social...).

PHILOSOPHY

I belive that one always has to listen to his/hers conscience and has to be prepared to question his/hers beliefs if confronted with some strong, tenabale arguments.

Of the great historical personas, I admire philosphy of Socrates, Voltaire and Bertrand Russell.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I'm on my way to couch-surf for the fist time in my life :) If that experience proves to be enjoyable, I plan to repeat it as much as I will be able. Also, as soon as I get my flat (maybe in two months), I plan to welcome other couch surfers :)

None. Yet :) (although I have hosted people at my place before, but in connection with debate turnaments, not CS)

reading, running (currently in training for my firts marathon), watching movies and plays, traveling (when money allows it :))

Movies, to name just some of them: Citizen Kane, Vertigo, Paths of Glory, North by Northwest, The Godfather I and II, One flew over the Cookoo's nest, Apocalypse Now, Raging Bull, Shawshank Redemption, Usual Suspects, Pan's Labyrinth, WALL-E, There will be blood, Un prophete, Winter's bone... long, long list

Music - also a very long list, but my main interest evolve around rock and jazz. I'm a die hard Rolling Stones fan, for example ( and yeah, I do realize their best stuff is 40 years old :). However, I adore many other musicians such as Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarret, Charlie Hunter, Brad Mehldau (my jazz favourites), Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, David Bowie, The Smiths, REM, Arcade Fire, The White Stripes, Tv On The Radio, Death Cab for Cutie, Foals, The Feelies, Silver Jews, Modest Mouse, Fleet Foxes and so on... this is an endless list, if I have one.

Books: Guees what - to many to name them all :) But some of my favourite writers are Salman Rushdie, Haruki Murakami, William Faulkner, Robert Penn Warren, Arthur C. Calrke, Philiph K. Dick, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Mark Twain, Boris Dežulović, Meša Selimović...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I' ve seen a painting Summertime: Number 9A from Jackson Pollock at Tate Modern, London. The experience (together with entire museum) is beyond my descriptive capeabilities.
