Overview
About Me
35 year old software developer and traveler. Completed a 5000km bicycle trip from Hungary to Iran in 2015, where I've met some incredible people and made good friends.
Planning my two-week trip to Scotland this year, and my 3-5-month one to South America at some point in the next couple of years.
Hopefully moving to a different place this year where I can host people to return the goodness we've received a couple of years back.
I've had a shared profile with my ex-partner, who's still traveling, hence me creating the new profile. You can check her out on https://www.facebook.com/Dies-Diem-Docet-710095089088366
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's extremely amazing at connecting likeminded people, it's not primarily about the couch and the accommodation itself.
'Old' and experienced couchsurfers were and are telling me a lot that it's not the same anymore, people just use it as a service. Also trying to use it as it 'was' or 'should be', as a social hub and connection point.
Interests
Cycling, hiking, motorcycling, theatre, gigs, people, politics.
