Overview
About Me
I am a Hungarian living in the Netherlands, Utrecht. I am an anthropologist at the VU in Amsterdam. I love visiting nature, I do like hiking, doing yoga, jogging, reading, looking at art, reading outside, having cup of tea or glass of wine and share stories. When I travel I usually like to stay with locals, because I like to visit the less touristic places and to learn a city/country via the people. This happened so far at friends' and airbnb..I am a newbie here so curious where this brings me to :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I haven't really traveled so far in this way and because I hear so many good things about it from friends I would love to try CS. Indirectly I have also already been both a guest and a host. Once a friend arranged me a last minute accommodation via CS and I liked the aspect of connecting with people this way. I am a neat and adapting person. Ready to contribute with food and other resources.
I also hosted once, as a replacement of one of my housemates (hence no record here...) and I really enjoyed the couple that stayed over during their European bike trip. I made soup for them and had a great evening together, sharing stories.

Music, Movies, and Books
Nowadays I am really into Hungarian literature and poetry (Sandor Marai, Sandor Weores, Magda Szabo..etc. ), just realized how beautiful my native language is! But also like biographies, historical novels, popular science.
All kinds of...Reggae, ska, bossa nova, jazz!, all kinds of electronic music, classical music, acoustic music.
Movies...all kinds of movies maybe except for action movies..I find them boring!..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
