ABOUT ME
Hi all! I'm Zsuzsanna/Zsuzsi whichever you prefer :) I live in a very small town called Borsodnádasd in Hungary, but I do my psychology studies in Budapest. Sometimes I am so energetic that I could run miles without taking a breath. Sometimes I prefer to have a cup of tea with my friends, sharing our thoughts and discussing big issues on life. I really love feeling the wind and the sun, letting the chocolate melt in my mouth, listening to some soft music at night on the street. Whenever I go to a new place, I am eager to get to know the people living there, the atmosphere, secret places...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am fascinated by this site and these possibilities. Unfortunately my place in Budapest is very small, so I cannot host, but I am always very happy to show you around in the city! :)
Interests
Music is my passion. I love playing the guitar, singing, visiting theatre and opera. Acting on stage is something really close to my heart. But I'm also interested in shooting films, directing and taking photos.
I am a fan of masks too, I have got some from Italy, Greece, Brasil, but I also like making them on my own. I adhere to hand made gifts :)
Aaand of course psychology. LOTS OF psychology :) I am obsessed. I consider myself a very curious, open-minded type, so I love listening to stories of others!

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste in movies, music and books is very diverse. I love fantasy like Lord of the Rings, X-men, The Hunger Games, Death Note, marvel movies, or the soupy romantic types too... I adore films, I have many-many favourites, just to mention a few: Atonement, Dead Poets' Society, The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Once, East is East, The Life of David Gale...
Fantasy books of course (Eragon, Artemis Fowl, THG trilogy), and classical ones such as Jane Austen novels or some great hungarian poems (like the one I posted at my philosophy).
I enjoy The xx, Parov Stellar, Kusturica, Thievery Corporation, but operas too like Turandot or Bank ban.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in Vienna with one of my closest friends, Orsi. We were standing amongst the small wooden Christmas cottages at Maria Theresien Platz, freezing from cold as it was winter. We could smell fried sausage and mulled wine in the air, could hear people talking in many different languages at the same time around us, while we were surrounded by so many tourists, that we could barely move our feet.
As we were standing there, suddenly the snow started to fall. For the very first time in that year, little white snowflakes started to fall from the sky, covering our hats and shoulders.
"Nem hiszem el!" (I can't believe this!) - I shouted, stunned, while Orsi couldn't stop laughing. It was just perfect.
