Cheerful, easy to get along with, flexible, interested, outgoing, tidy, sometimes a bit late for meetings but I'm working on it :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered while I spent my year of ERASMUS in Tampere, Finland to meet new people. Now I'm back to Budapest and just got a bigger place so I hope to help some fellow budget travellers on their way :)

Interests

I love dancing! Otherwise I like playing the viola & violin (though nowadays I have less time for it), "do it yourself" art, doing sports like swimming, cycling, winter sports, scuba diving, canoeing. I'm interested in history and architecture and when travel somewhere I want to know the story of the place and its people. I like to talk to strangers, going out for a drink, go to places where usually tourists don't go and learn the way of life of the inhabitants.

When at home I like to be quite busy, I always have to go somewhere but I'm friendly and I try my best to have time to show you around. You are welcome to visit :)

My whole life is amazing but my latest favourite memory was winning at an air guitar competition :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Hungarian folk dances and songs, basic knowledge in Hungarian language for first, and of course I love to share my view of life with anyone who is interested. In exchange I would like to hear your story of life and the story of the place you live, and a bit of your language.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If I know it in advance I'm going to live with you I can bring some Hungarian delicacy. I have stories, I can share experience on Hungarian and Finnish life, Hungarian folk culture. I can lend a helping hand in mathematics or informatics probably. And mostly, I can share a drink any time!
