About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see... I have an incredible desire to experience the world around me.
ABOUT ME
My parents were missionary's. I grew up constantly moving. I have lived in USA, Mexico and Brazil. and been through or lived in 36 states. The travel bug is in my blood. I work part time as a contract inspector for FEMA which allows me to both help people, travel and meet some truly incredible people. I have had many strange jobs, some of my best memories are from them. like the one time i worked for a helicopter company as a fuel truck driver. and worked on Montana fighting forest fires. I am ALWAYS up for something new. I play many instruments and i sing. I love music and anything artistic. I published underground comic books for five years. Many people think i am rude because of my straightforwardness. If you ask me a question, be prepared for the honest answer. I don't pull any punches and don't expect any back. I am honest and dependable.
PHILOSOPHY
I'd rather be a smart ass than a dumb ass any day. People often confuse ignorance with stupidity. Ignorance is the lack of knowledge. But stupidity is the complete inability to grasp it.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have been hosting people for a while and here recently had the absolute pleasure of surfing the Big Easy, and about to hit Houston.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
before I married my wife she lived in Georgia, and then in Mississippi. For two years I hitch hiked or rode a buss to see her every month. I was 15 when I started, and most every one I knew thought that i was crazy and my mother for allowing me to. In that time i have had some.... very ... odd experiences. One cool thing about this is my wife wrote our story down and submitted it to the hearts on fire diamond company. and won the "What would you do for love" contest. We finally got married at age 17, its been seven years now.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
at the end of my time in Brazil I and all of my friends there went out by boat and got dropped off at a light house in the middle of the amazon and swam back almost seven miles across and down the amazon river. That was one of the most amazing things I have ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to learn new things, I am very interested in any musical skills that could be taught. as well as languages. I'm a science nerd {yes believe it or not} and love to build weird contraptions for my daughters. I my self teach art and guitar. I have taught beginner drums as well. Also being a graphic designer I love teaching computer related art skills.
