About Me

Hi! My name is Jacob Zu(Zu Liuyang)
I am 21 years old and a student from China who loves traveling, meeting new people, and experiencing different cultures.I am a young person full of energy, and I bring joy and energy to those around me.
I'm optimistic, open-minded, and easy to talk to — :)

I believe that every journey is not just about places, but about the people you meet along the way. That’s why I’m on Couchsurfing — to connect with locals, learn their stories, and share mine. I’m respectful, curious, and always willing to help out.😎

I am extremely looking forward to meeting you.I also hope leave each other with beautiful memories.❤️❤️

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing because I believe the best part of traveling isn’t just seeing new places — it’s meeting new people. Hotels and hostels are fine, but they can’t offer the kind of genuine connection and cultural exchange that happens when you stay with locals.

I want to see the world through other people’s eyes, to hear their stories, share laughs, and learn things I’d never find in a guidebook. I’m not just looking for a free place to sleep — I’m looking for real conversations, shared meals, spontaneous adventures, and maybe even some lifelong friendships.🥰🥰

Couchsurfing feels like a global community of open-minded, kind-hearted people — and I’m excited to be a part of it.

Interests

I’m passionate about exploring new places — traveling helps me see the world from different perspectives and connect with people from all walks of life. I love music and dancing; whether it's enjoying live performances or just moving to the rhythm, it always brings me joy.❤️

Hiking and mountain climbing are also a big part of my life. Being in nature clears my mind and gives me a sense of peace and adventure at the same time.

One of my favorite things is having meaningful conversations — I enjoy talking with people, exchanging ideas, and learning from their stories and cultures.⭐️⭐️

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best thing I've done was deciding to travel abroad alone when I was 19 years old. It was my first time leaving my home country by myself, and it completely changed the way I see the world. I met people from different cultures, experienced new ways of life, and learned how to be independent. ❤️❤️

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach:
I can teach you Chinese — at least enough to impress your friends or confuse a waiter.

Learn:
I’d love to learn about your culture, your language, your travel tips, and especially your unique take on life.So if you have a good story, I’m all ears.

Share:
In return, I’m happy to share my own travel adventures — the good, the bad, and the "how-did-I-survive-that" moments. I can also share my favorite foods, books, movies, music, and random fun facts that no one asked for.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m a respectful and kind guest who’s always happy to share stories and experiences. I can help with cooking, cleaning, or anything you might need around the house. I’m also happy to share about my culture, language(Chinese)
I will also bring some small gifts from China

Countries I’ve Visited

Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan
