About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life: Live it, love it ...

ABOUT ME

I am a software engineer looking for every opportunity to travel. I don't just want to be a tourist. To me, travelling means being part of the culture of the place, knowing people of the land and get to know the country from the inside. I have had wonderful experience meeting new people and their open mindedness amazed me and filled my mind with gratitude. I wish I had more money, I wish I had more vacation and I wish my craving to admire this world never dies...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to host if you are visiting and/or passing through Chicago. I have an extra room with a bed for now. In the weekday evenings and weekends, I can show my city around. I hope I would get more opportunity to meet wonderful people from all over the world through couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in Los Angeles, Wisconsin, Toronto, and Nashville and had a great experience every single time.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: The Hobbit. The Da Vinci Code. Russian Folklore. A Tale of Two Cities. Count of Monte Cristo. Foundation Series (all seven of them). The Kossak. The Poet. Surely You Are Joking Mr. Feynman, any reasonably good science fiction. And many many more.
Movies: The Last Of The Mohicans. Lord of the Rings. Transformers (1st Part). Batman Begins. Kung Fu Panda. Under World. The Notebook. District 9. And many many more.
Music: Everything that's good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to bring home abandoned kittens from the streets of Dhaka. I would feed them and take care of them offcourse until my mom found out about it. I don't think I have done anything THAT amazing while travelling. In Pattaya, Thailand I rented a bike for 4 US$ for one full day which included gas. So if in Pattaya, rent a bike!
