Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted many surfers during their travels to South Africa. Always having a great time showing others around my city. I recently got married, and now my wife and I (yes, we're lesbian, everybody loves lesbians!) are on a trip of a lifetime travelling through South America. We love to meet people and learn about new cultures. There is never enough time to learn all we want to..****We are now back from our 6 month journey with many stories to tell.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hosted many, and surfed quite a few times - always having a great experience! I love showing others around my city. It is always great if a local from a city or town can show us around, but we have no trouble finding our own way. Even if we get a little lost sometimes, it makes for a great story.

Love chilling out and going to the cinema every now and again. I could read all day, a variety of topics. Music whispers to my soul..and I love jumping around at live music events*

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Oh so many! Working with children, helping the helpless, seeing the magnificent Iguazu Falls, marrying the love of my life, helping ducklings to the water, working on a tropical island, telling a billionaire to recycle, chopping coconuts on a hilltop, watching wild horses play on a beach.. Teach, Learn, Share

For me Couchsurfing is not about a free place to crash, it's about learning and teaching. I believe everyone who crosses my path is there for a reason. It could be a big reason or a small reason. We constantly learn from each other, and sharing positivity with as many as we can is the only way we can make the world a better place*
