About Me
Heyyy
* Currently traveling in Caucasus region and can't host travelers *
My name is Zumrad ( you can call me Zuma) I am from sunny Uzbekistan, country with the most hospitable and kind people, rich history and the tastiest fruits. I live and study in Rome, Italy.
I am super spontaneous and always ready for an adventure. If you wake me up at 3 am offering to leave for another continent to work in a cat shelter, in 15 mins I'll be ready with my backpack on.
Enjoying to spend time outdoors- hiking, camping, exploring.
Vegetarian, transitioning vegan for animals. I am really into cooking and always happy to make us some meals :)
«A stranger is just a friend you haven't met.»
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hospitality is a big part of my culture and therefore I love the concept of Couchsurfing that much.
Also, I just started the journey of self-exploring and traveling is the best way to do it. Meeting new people, having meaningful conversations, making memories and experiencing beautiful connections- meeting as strangers and parting as friends.
And also I want to see the world: as much as I possibly can. And CS is a a perfect chance to get to know different cultures without feeling that you are just a "tourist". It's a chance to blend in with the locals and find home in another country.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: mostly I listen to indie or alternative rock. And for me it's always about the lyrics! I do enjoy a melody and bass, but it is lyrics that can leave me crying for half an hour.
Books and Movies: A lot! Mostly I am into fiction and psychology.
