About Me

CURRENT MISSION

packing...

ABOUT ME

I'm in a middle of big life changes. Just moved to my own apartment, I'm finishing my college & getting my shit together. Everything is moving and I've just started coping with it.Next week England!
Everything I mentioned above can possibly be seen or felt when you are around me... so there you go.

PHILOSOPHY

Learning new values make me feel valuable.

Also I don't feel ignorant for not knowing something. I feel glad for not knowing everything so I can be happy when I get to know it, him, her, or whatever else is out there, or inside of me.

Think Locally, Fuck Globally (or something like that, by Gogol Bordello)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have to find out how things work on here so I can know how to participate. I have my own apartment & a couch, that might be a good start toward hosting someone and meeting new people.

I've already hosted people from different countries for a couple of times, but from now on it will be in my own household.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Next week I'll start having some (hopefully :))

Interests

I have many interests.. mostly people, culture and nature oriented and it gets more interesting through time. At the moment I love walking(with friends or alone) and I love to cook for other people(pancakes are my specialty).
I'm mostly interested at what life can cough up/spit out in front of me, or just behind the next turn.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I like big variety of movies: Fight Club, Amelie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Bram Stokers Dracula, Dogville, As Good as it Gets, Back in the Future(first), Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas... I'm also getting verry giddy in expectation for Hobbit the movie(first one at least).

Music: Also I love different genres. At the moment I listen to Jazz, Trip Hop, Gypsy Punk, variety of electronical music and/or psychedelic music: Squirell Nut Zippers, Miles Davis, Gogol Bordello, Massive Attack, Portishead, Kap Bambino and A Perfect Circle.

Books: I've just read "American Gods" by Neil Gaiman, big recommendation! I'm currently reading "To Love with Open Eyes" by Jorge Bucay(my own title translaion from Croatian) and I will soon start reading "Game of Thrones"(all those that were written in that series) by George R.R. Martin.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to share stuff, life, experiences and I'm happy I can have new options to learn how and opportunities open for meeting people.

I work well with people and I'm happy most of the time and I know when to fuck off and not be to happy around some people. I don't know if that is considered as a special skill.

I can draw, paint, do collages(I want to improve on those soon).

I can find stuff on the internet you wouldn't believe. And I can do it quickly, so I guess I'm good with databases when I don't feel lazy or uninterested.

I've also trained jiu jitzu and I can withstand serious amounts of pain, but I don't know how that can be helpful to others(unless if they are into S&M, which I don't think I'm into).

I've studied agriculture in the past, but I haven't planted anything yet... something must still linger in the back of my head.

Hmmmm, what else? I'll have to find out...
Well, I can eat almost anything, but it's nothing I can teach it to someone else.

I want to learn how to work with wood, from furniture to wooden houses.. also I'd like to learn Spanish, French and Russian(I might learn some Finnish also).
Improving German is my next goal.
Also I'd like to learn playing some instruments(especially saxophone and a banjo).
