I'm a software engineer who likes to travel. Typically I save up all my vacation and take one 3½-week long trip through Europe. Wave-Gotik-Treffen & Fête de l'absinthe de Boveresse have become regular stops.
The rest of the year I pass time with soccer, board games, maybe a hike or camping, goth club, drinks with friends, or whatever else sounds good.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One?!?
Train ride through the Austrian Alps? ... kinda on accident. I was only on an hour of sleep when I bought the train ticket.
Going to WGT-19 (Wave-Gotik-Treffen)? ... and then going 2 more years in a row. ... so far. Make that 6.
Finding my way up into the Swiss hills to Gruyères to see the Museum HR Giger and the Giger Bar? :-D Rather unreal.
And then doing it again with a different friend.
Going to the burning of Zozobra in Santa Fe, NM, US every year I can. :-)
Hanging out in Val-de-Travers, the center of absinthe, for more than a week around the Fête de l'Absinthe de Boveresse with the most amazing people.
Spending the weekend on the east shores of Ireland on the Burren during an NSK State event.
