Hi, I'm Zuzia (she/her)! I'm a 20-year-old Chemistry student and English tutor. I was born and raised in Lublin, Poland but moved to Nijmegen, The Netherlands in January 2022.

I take care of plants, read a lot and poke holes in people's bodies. I took a gap year after graduating high school in May 2021. Since then, I've been working as an English tutor for children and teenagers. In November 2021, I completed a course and got my body piercer qualifications too!

I'm definitely a science nerd, if you want to call it that. I'm most interested in chemistry and physics but I find it fascinating how predictable and unpredictable (at the same time!) everything around us is. I love the way it's impossible for humans to know everything about the world and how a lot of things that we think are true are actually not - or we don't know they're not true yet.

I'm really passionate about the topics of veganism, feminism, queer community - all of these being very personal for me, being a queer vegan feminist myself. I'm always happy to discuss and share views because it's impossible to evolve in your views and expand your knowledge if you're never challenged. The thing I expect from such discussions is mutual respect and sharing love, not hate and resentment. ❤

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first heard about Couchsurfing when I was 15 or 16 and since then I've wanted to be a part of the community. It feels amazing to be able to be in touch with so many people, connect and make friends, learn and grow because no human interaction comes without a lesson.

I had my first solo backpacking trip to Spain at the age of 18 and moved abroad all by myself at the age of 19.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can swap travel or non-travel stories, cook some good vegan food, have a little language exchange, have a long conversation about anything really (from cats to global warming) while drinking tea. I can make flower crowns too!

What I Can Share with Hosts
