My name is Zuzanna but my friends caIl me Zu :) I come form Poland, Warsaw. A year ago I graduated from University. During my three years of studies I have been traveling each summer to volunteer abroad, working with refugees in Greece and Serbia and felt that exploring new places and social work are things close to my heart, that bring me joy.

I believe I am an easy going person. I don’t need much to feel comfortable :) I love to travel and explore by myslef . I am quite independent and I like to be on my own. At the same time I love to make new friends while I’m traveling solo and chat about life, adventures, memories and have a laugh. I like to party and have a drink but I am also an old lady at heart - I don’t understand technology (how do I find the cloud?), I will bake you cookies and fall asleep in random places. I always try to approach new people that I get a chance to meet with openness and curiosity. I love to learn new things and be around different energies.

I am currently in Portugal in the small town of Amarante doing a volunteering program called European Solidarity Corps. We volunteer at organic farms and help local institutions such as schools, elderly home and the disabled center. My activities here allow me to be close to nature and animals which makes me super happy. I enjoy Amarante and the work we do here a lot and at the same time I want to explore other places around Portugal. 🌞

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think it can be a great experience for both host and the traveler. I think it's a cool idea that makes traveling more exciting and making new friends along the way simpler.

I will be very happy to cook you a vegetarian meal. I love cooking and in our volunteer houses we don’t have a proper kitchen! I am a queer person in an open relationship. I am passionate for the topic of polyamory and I am open to share my story, maybe it can be interesting for you to hear :)
